Time for Congress to hold hearings on Planned Parenthood

Last spring there was a hue and cry over the millions and millions of dollars being given by the Federal government to Planned Parenthood. The pro-life public sprang into action calling its representatives and demanding that no tax dollars be given to such a criminal enterprise as Planned Parenthood. Then the Republican leadership compromised on the continuing resolution, the conversation moved to the increase of the debt ceiling and ...all of one is talking about the babies.

This current preoccupation with everything but stopping the waste must change. Now is the time to contact your representatives and ask them to call for hearings on the House side. Perhaps it should start in Judiciary or maybe more appropriately in the subcommittee the oversees the GAO. After all the GAO has been asking for Planned Parenthood to provide an audit of the federal funds Planned Parenthood has taken over the last ten years. You see the funds are still missing. The report has not been given to the GAO. Meanwhile Congress should start doing its job. We can't ask the Senate because it is run by Harry Reid. So the House will have to hold the hearings.

I wrote about this in April but nothing happened in spite of all the noise. Now is the time for the Congress to get serious and end the funding of Planned Parenthood.
